Terms and Conditions

Check our terms and conditions for reservations, cancellations, responsibilities and travel policies in Cusco and Machu Picchu.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between our travel agency and clients who hire our tourism services. By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Reservations and Confirmations

Reservations are considered confirmed once the corresponding deposit (30% to 50% of the total tour value) has been received and confirmation has been sent by email. The remaining balance must be paid up to 24 hours before the start of the tour or on the same day of service in cash.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by the client:

  • More than 7 days in advance: 100% deposit refund
  • Between 3 and 7 days in advance: 50% deposit refund
  • Less than 48 hours: no refund
  • For Machu Picchu, Inca Trail and Salkantay tours: cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance for partial refund

Cancellations by the agency: If due to force majeure (extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes) we cancel the tour, a 100% refund or rescheduling at no cost will be offered.

3. Date Changes

Date changes at no additional cost are possible with at least 48 hours notice, subject to availability. For Machu Picchu tours, changes depend on ticket and train availability.

4. Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for:

  • Having valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
  • Being in good health to perform the contracted activities
  • Arriving on time at meeting points
  • Following the guide's instructions during the tour
  • Purchasing travel insurance covering medical emergencies and cancellations

5. Limitation of Liability

Our agency is not responsible for:

  • Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during the tour
  • Health problems derived from altitude sickness if the client did not follow acclimatization recommendations
  • Cancellations or changes due to force majeure (weather, natural disasters, site closures)
  • Delays in flights, trains or other means of transport not operated by us

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, lost luggage and repatriation. Our tours include basic accident insurance, but it does not cover all eventualities.

7. Minors Policy

Minors must travel accompanied by their parents or a responsible adult with notarized authorization. Special discounts apply for children aged 3 to 10 (presenting ID).

8. Itinerary Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the itinerary for reasons of force majeure (weather, safety, site closures) to ensure traveler safety. In these cases, alternatives of similar value will be offered.

9. Data Privacy

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, solely for the management of your reservation and communications related to the service.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any controversy will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cusco.
