Before Traveling
What is the best time to visit Cusco?
The dry season from April to October is ideal, with sunny days and little rain. June, July and August are the busiest months.
How many days do I need to visit Cusco and Machu Picchu?
We recommend a minimum of 4 to 5 days to see the essentials without rushing.
Altitude and Acclimatization
What is altitude sickness and how to prevent it?
Altitude sickness is the body's reaction to lack of oxygen at altitudes above 2,500 meters. To prevent it: arrive in Cusco 1-2 days before, drink plenty of water and coca tea, avoid heavy meals and alcohol.
Is coca tea legal?
Yes, coca tea is legal and traditional in Peru and Bolivia. It has no psychoactive effects and helps relieve altitude sickness symptoms.
Bookings and Payments
How can I book a tour?
You can book online through our website, by WhatsApp, email or visiting our office in Cusco.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation more than 7 days: 100% refund. Between 3 and 7 days: 50%. Less than 48 hours: no refund. For Machu Picchu, 30 days notice is required.
During the Tour
Do guides speak English?
Yes, all our guides are bilingual (Spanish/English). We also have French, German, Portuguese and Italian guides upon request.
Can I leave my luggage at your offices?
Yes, we offer free luggage storage during your tour.
Machu Picchu
How far in advance should I book Machu Picchu?
We recommend 2-3 months in advance for high season and 3-4 months for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
Can I climb Huayna Picchu?
Yes, but spots are limited (400 people per day). You must book 3-4 months in advance.
